Putting a styled G emgine back together and cant seemed to find the torque values. Iv got an IT manual and if they are in there Im not seeing them. Course I didnt have my glasses on..... I need the connecting rod torques, the head bolt values mainly. Thanks a lot to anybody who responds. Also is there a torque sequence for the head bolts or just the common sense X pattern? Thanks again.

Looking in my IT book it reads as follows
pg 15 (manual jd4)

tightem connecting rod bolts to 62.5 ft/lbs

pg 11.

tighten stud nuts from center outward and to torque 208 ft/lbs. on all heat treated studs (dark colored) tighten these to 150 ft/lbs

hope this helps

Head is 200 ft lbs. for the hardend studs, if I remember right, not 308.

I just put new rings in mine and got the torque values from my IT manual. look around where they talk about the piston and rings, near the front of the book. i also recall seeing them in the R&R paragraphs.

if you don't have them in your book??? let me know and I can email them to you.
