My neighbor has a bunch of engine parts from a John Deere engine of some type,ne doesnt know what it came from and says he had problems finding out what it was hisself so he just chucked it on the edge of his woods and threw a tarp over it.Its a 4 cylinder engine, gauges, both oil and temp have John Deere on them, why I assume its a JD engine and its still got green paint on it.I found the manifold,I think, and it has T20 something like IT or the like on it,and so far has been the only marking readable I have found on it.The bore looks to be 2 1/2"-3",maybe bigger.I would like to ID this engine as it still looks to be in good shape, but other parts are shot. The block itself still has the crank in it and the oil pan on it,although the pan has rusted through and the cylinders and crank journals are rusted as well.He also has a radiator and a gas tank for it,so if there are any marks on those that will help me id it,let me know. Thanks!
