I am looking at a JD 60 L&G for mowing and pushing snow. The tractor is in very good shape cosmetically and mechanically. It comes with an almost new snow blade, and a good mowing deck with a new belt and blades. I think I could probably pick it up for around $550 for all of it. Is that a reasonable price? Are these good tractors? Thanks guys.

Jerico:
That is a little bit high in my opinion. I picked up a model 70 at portland, Ind. this past summer for 300 with a deck and front blade. It needed a new crank seal and one safety switch. If you can get them under 400 you'd be more in line. However, my philosphy is, if you are comfortable with the price, than buy it. You may never find another one and then next weekend, you may see 2 under 350.
