Hello, I got caught in a rain storm out for a ride on my B. She died in the drive and I pushed her in the garage. This was two days before the huricanes. I've been real busy since, so 'm just getting back to the tractor. I've changed the plugs and wires. Checked the points, rotor, and cap. Everything looks nice and clean. Still no spark. Any ideas would be great. Thanks, Jim

Jim, what mag do you have, a Wico C??? Regardless, I would remove the mag cap(s) and use a hair dryer to dry her and the cap(s) out and check the points gap as well as clean/buff/polish the point surfaces and check the gap. Replace the plugs if carboned up or fouled appearing. Is she still making a loud sharp SNAP???

It sounds like the magnito may be bad. But Im not sure how to test it. I can check with my brother inlaw he has a manual. And is a wiz with those B's.

Sorry I meant coil not mag. You will have to see if the coil had B+ to one side with the switch on.If it has power and no spark then the coil is bad.
