I've got a 3-point mounted Kelly and love it. However, it is extremely hard on the hitch. My 4000hr 4010 has more slack in the hitch than my 6000hr 4020.

Bought a Kelly "56"--large, will dig 14'. Tried it on my 2240, it worked, but just. Last fall I picked up a '66 4020D, which should be big enough for the backhoe. I'm going to pipe direct hydraulics, by-passing the scv's. Be sure to adapt your backhoe to closed or open depending on what system your tractor is. My machine is three-point instead of sub-frame, but should be O.K. for anything but full-time use.

John:

Years ago we had a "Long" brand 3 pt. mounted hoe on our 4020D, and although it was a small unit, it did a good amount of work for us. It was mighty handy, and I wish I had it today.

That's about all I can say about it.
