I am tearing apart a unstyled d carb, and I need to know the best way to get the economizer out of the carb. Right now I am soaking it with Silikroil and still no luck. I know this is a brass unit and it will bend or distort easily if hammered or pryed on. Does any one have a good method of removing this part? Thanks

Because we do not know of how much experiance you have with blue tip wrenches I would like to add this coment. Brass screws will usually tell you when enough heat has been applied to ---THE SCREW ONLY--as it will flash green. That is generaly enough once it cools down. Dave NE IOWA

On stuck brass heat the screw real hot then let it cool completely, then it should come right out.
