Taylor Equipment in Michigan has 2 good used
valves. I looked at them this morning. The price on them is $75 each. I think you can buy new
right from a Deere dealer for 100-110. Anyway if you are interested, their ph is 231.734.5213.
They ship UPS. Good luck on your D. Please post your progress as I'm in the middle of one right now too.

Thanks, Guys for the info. I will probably put in a bid on e-bay, but I'm uncertain on the numbers. It sounds like those valves are supposed to work for either exhaust or intake??
And I will call Taylor Equipment and check with them. Currently working on two unstyled D's, 1937's, and two styled D's, 1944 and 1948. Also quite an assortment of others! Thanks again.

I am going to a salvage place tomorrow morning
to pickup the very same set of valves(At least
I think they're the same-mine's 1935 unstyled)
Anyway, I'm going to check with them and I will
post you tommorrow with the results. I have checked on new & found them at 110 each. I'm
hoping to pick these up for 50 each. Talk to you soon.
