I recently stripped all the wiring out of my JD50 for restoration. Does anyone know ehere I can find a wiring diagram for one?

Daniel,

This is the wiring diagram for the 50 that John Deere supplies.

I rewired my own 50 or as a previous poster suggested you can buy a complete harness. If you do make your own I'd suggest that you pay particular attention to clean tight ground connections, and solder all terminals. The terminals have to be able to take considerable vibration and weather. I used heat shrink tubing to insulate the terminals. I also used lots of wire ties to keep things from flopping around.

You might consider getting a new wiring harness from www.wiringharnesses.com they have new ones built for the 50, and work great.
