I will have to go with Buick's thought. I have my aftermarket mufflet laying on a shelf with the deere muffler on the tractor. It would have been a lot cheaper for me to buy the deere up front.

The noise level is bearable now and the sound is much deeper. That is on a dubuque though.

Oh and I also have a straight pipe on the same shelf to keep the Stanley company.

Mother Deere's muffler costs about the same in the long run, it lasts twice as long as aftermarket. Added bonous you will go deaf slower with the quieter real Deere muffler.
