How do I tell what part number starter would work on my 3010? It has been converted to 12volt. The starter thats on it now was the 24 volt one rewired for 12volts. That just don't spin it fast enough. The web sites I have checked all have crossover numbers but mine would cross to a 24 volt unit. I could take mine off and measure the pilot and number of teeth. Thanks for any help. Jim

All of the mounting flanges, and starter drives, are the same for the 400 series diesel, 3010 through 4840 and more. The Iskra no. is the same for all these 12 volt diesel tractors. If you cross to, say, a 4430 12 volt starter, it will work on the 3010. That is for the 4KW direct drive Iskra. You won't need a gear drive on the 3010. I've been using them for years, best starter on the market, get one.

Go with a nippendenso. Can get them through Deere or Abilene Machine or somewhere.
