I cannot find any reference to a sale price for an M crawler-----I am looking at one tomorrow and have no idea as to values. Are they a popular item? I do not know of it's condition other than it's not restored. Any advice would help.
Thank-you

Jim-

Too many variables to comfortably list on a blind post. Also, I see that you have already looked at the MC (based upon the fact that today is yesterday's tomorrow). I am not an expert on MC's but have been looking at them for quite some time and have an idea of what to look for, and about what they should be going for. If you would like another person's opinion, e-mail a picture to me at gschilling@esilab.com, and I will tell you what I know about it. Greg

Quite a few have been showing up on E-Bay. You can check the past sales on them there if you would like.

As with any crawler, there are many variables. The under carriage is the most important thing to look at. The MC uses a different system to mount the rolls than the later machines and this can be a problem. If you are going to use the machine, it is a real short track and tends to be nose heavy if you put too much blade on it. The past life would be important to know. Here in New Hampshire, beating around the granite filled woods was hard on them. A machine that was used in nice soft ground would not have the same breakage problems as one from here would have.

Price**anywhere from $500 and up depending on condition.
