The other B carbs. should work fine. Just don't stick an A carb. on as it will run but you will not be able to lean it enough to stop plug fouling.

Jim - I am at work now, so this is only from memory. If you would like me to confirm which carbs will work on your tractor, just e-mail me at home at skyparkohio@sbcglobal.net. I have the John Deere books that state which carbs were to go on which tractors. In the meantime, if the DLTX 34 is indeed for all-fuel, the only major difference that I am aware of is that the 34 would have an economizer, and the later model of carb won't. If you run in the all-fuel mode, this is supposed to make a difference. If you only run gasoline, it won't. I have run my 1945 B with a late styled carb, and it worked fine.

I will bet you a quick call to Robert's Carb in upper Iowa will get you a great answer -- try 712-262-5311 and ask for Robert.

Just a guess, but it sounds like you have an all fuel B. Also just another guess the other ones will probably work but I'm not really sure. I have a couple of them out in my shop but I have no idea how good or bad they might be.
