I can only make out about a 1/3 of the numbers on my U.S.A. PAT. decal, located to the top left behind the handcrank flywheel, on the main case. Does anyone have the rest of the numbers? Jorde's Decals doesn't have this decal but said, if I could get all the numbers he would make one for me. I finally got through and talked to someone at the John Deere Collectors Center today, they told me they didn't have the numbers I needed.
I have gone to the only tractor salvage yard in my area but he didn't have any 1944 B's.
I would be willing to pay $25. to the first person who can send me a clear photo with all the numbers visible.
Thanks,
David Lile

David,
The attached photo isn't from a B, but is from a 1941 model year H. However, it appears that it might be the same decal. It belongs to a friend who is currently selling that H (might be sold already), but he was kind enough to send me a photo of that decal. Hope it helps you a little.

Thanks for looking, that is one of the best PAT. decals I have seen most are really faded. Yours has 2 colums with 3 rows of numbers.
On my 1944 B PAT. decal I have 2 colums with four rows of numbers. Also my doesn't have "OTHERS PENDING" on the bottom.
Jorde of Jorde Decals told me he thinks they changed numbers alot. This is why he doesn't have them. I have contacted some large two cylinder salvage yards up north maybe one of those will have the numbers I'm looking for. I really appreciate you trying to help.

I have a 44 A w/hand start and it has remnants of a decal in the very same location. I was wondering what that says also. There is hardly any thing left of mine so i don't have a clue. I could just tell something was there at one time. Mine was yellow and green though. Not white as yours appears to be. I was going to talk to Jordes also when I order full decals.

Jorde said he thought mine was yellow originally and had faded white over the past 61 years.
Thanks for looking.
