My F935 is not running. So I took it to the dealer tonight. When unloading it, I was pushing on the two bottons on the hydro unit so I could coast it down the unloading ramps and the thing got away from me going too fast. I though I was about to get run over and let off the bottons and the unit stopped. It skidded and brougth the back tires off the ground. Now the thing coasts around without pushing on the bottons. Did I do damage to the Hydro unit? Its bad enough I'm about to spend $ on getting it running but now I wonder if I messed up the hydro unit too. What do you think, Did I do damage?

Mike: Those two "buttons" that you speak of are just check valves. When you push in on them, you open them up so you can freewheel. They should have popped back up though I doubt you damaged anything.

Yes they did pop back up, but normally the unit will not move when poped up. This time it moves around like they are pushed in. That is what scares me. jray

Did you move the lever to disengage the hydro unit or does yours have a hi low neutral shifter ??

This unit does not have any hand levers. It only has foot forward and reverse. On top the the drive unit it has two bottons to release the drive so you can push it around. That is what I was pushing on. jray

For some reason ? I think you may have to get the unit up and running again so hyd. pressure can push them back up again so it works. I think I may of seen mention of this in a book on another model. I wouldn't sweat it just yet.Talk to the dealer in the morning when they open.
