At a sale this past weekend I bought a box of wooden parts. All were the same and some had a John Deere tag with the number KW238 or CW 238B. The pieces are 1/2 round and are 2 3/4" tall, 2 5/8" across the back & 1/2" thick. They each have a 1" hole. The wood appears to be pine. One tag is labeled John Deere Plow Company, Indianapolis, 7, Indiana. What are they and do they have value. There was also a NOS eoller bearing # P3801H.
Thanks for your help,
John

The bearing was used in some corn pickers, ensilage harvesters and the No.5 combine or one of its attachments. I couldn't find anything on the wooden pieces.

Disk tillers, tandem disks have wood bearings until not many years ago. --Walt--

Went to ebay and looked, they're exactly the same as the wood bearings I took out of a tandem disk about ten years ago. --Walt--

Walt is right that they must be harrow disk bearings. JD disk plows and disk tiller oneways used HD ball bearings or cast and steel sleeve bearings.
