I don't know the answers to these questions but would like to. These are combine questions.

1. What company was the first to introduce electrohydraulics in combines?

2. Who was first with hydrostatic drive?

3. Variable control ground speed?

4. Auger-type header?

5. Variable control for cylinder speed?

6. Stone protection?

7. Yield monitor?

8. Shaft monitors?

9. Rasp bars in lue of spike tooth cylinders?

10. 12 row corn head? (who was first with 6 & 8 row also?)

If you don't know who was first you might know when Deere came up with these features. Thanks in advance.

Joel I do know a 1928 Baldwin had #'s 4 and 9
IH SP's had # 3 in early 1950's or before, as I thought it was the best thing after sliced bread.
