Where can the small globe mini bulbs be found in 6V? They're the ones that fit into the red indicator light on my 80 as well as several tail lights. Nobody around here seems to have them. Thanks.

For the front lights the major lamp manufactures like GE, Westinghouse etc make sealed beam 6V lamps for comercial bilding emergency exit lights.Takes some digging but they do exist.

What is the manufactures part number. Many small 6 volt bulbs are still made. Radio Shack has a selection.

Are these bulbs with a small bayonet base? About 1/4" diameter? Or a larger diameter base like an automotive bulb?

It's a trade #51 lamp (6 volt, .22 amp, miniature bayonet base).

My local Radio Shack doesn't stock 'em anymore nor do the discount auto parts places. Grainger's however still shows them in their catalog (cat no 1G834 at $1.09 ea)

Grainger wants business accounts. Mouser has the lamps & the part number is 606-CM51 at $0.77 each. Contact number is (800) 346-6873. Mouser does not have a mimimum order requirement either.

I have plenty of small 6volt bulbs. Contact me. I am sure the price will be reasonable. I am assuming the bulbs you need are the same size as #53 and # 57 which is the 12v counterpart.

The number for 6 volt is 51 and 55
