You might contact Charles Lindstrom. He probably can get you a new one at a more reasonable price. He can be reached at: Charles B. Lindstrom, Inc. 107 Roseport Rd. Wathena, KS 66090 Telephone 1-913-365-5500 E Mail: cb@parts4tractors. com

For what model ? And are your splines any good ? Might not be any good to put a new one on worn out splines and still be loose or pushed back too far binding up the clutch.

I have to agree with G MAN on purchasing a new clutch drive. This is Deere's Achille's tendon.
If I had it apart and planned on keeping it, and especially if I was going to work it, new is the only way to go.

The fact that a good used one brought 2/3 of new price seems to suggest that there isn't a big supply of good used ones out there. I guess a guy can either spend untold amounts of time looking for a good used one "cheap" - which he may not find, or he can bite the bullet and buy a new one that he knows is good.
