I have a 620 and the rockshaft control lever is all the way to the back. It will not move forward. Does this mean that the control valve is possibly seized? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. The lever is free so it is something internal. Dirtjockey, is the brake you are referring to the (plate, rockshaft control, with facing) in the parts manual? Guess I will have to pull the seat and cover off to get to it. Thanks for the suggestion.

It could also mean the handle brake is frozen. My 720's 3 point was never use according to the owner, also looked that way. After getting it home I also found the lever would not move. All the valves are under oil, but the handle brake is not. had to open it up and pry open the brake. Work perfectly after that.

Unhook the rod to the lever and see if it frees up. It may just be stuck in the bracket and the bushing where the rockshaft lever is.
