I may be a bit biased but I think these tractors are great. I like them alot more than the 4010 large frames. They are now running John Deere Power Tech turbo diesel motors in them with increased HP and torque numbers....running 43hp to 58hp in this series. Since they have come out I have had great success with them. I really like the new factory cab that has just become available for these. You also have an option for an air suspension seat on them as well. The tilt steering wheel has been improved and looks like it will hold up much better than the prior version. The new design on the hood and engine accesability is great, no more dealing with the side pannels. The new 400X and CX loaders are a real nice improvement especially if you need to pull the loader off the tractor frequently. Other than that I feel they have a much better look to them than alot of the competition. I may be biased but I do sell other brands besides John Deere, I also rep New Holland, Kubota and several construction lines as well. I do not know if this helps but it is my .02.

Personally, because of the wierd transaxles, I'd steer clear of the 42, 43, 4420 models. The others all have Yanmar/Kanzaki built transaxles.
