Any drawings or information on hooking up an M & W turbo setup on a 4010 would be appreciated. Especially the oil cooling lines. Any and all help appreciated.

It would depend on how old the turbo is.There were some chages M&W made fron the first to the last they manufactured.Does your turbo exhaust come out the original muffler hole in the hood? Does it have an oil filter? Steel oil lines?

Not sure whether kit is early or late. The turbo exhaust does come out in the original spot in hood, it does have an oil filter, and has hoses instead of steel oil lines. I need to see how the oil lines and filter are hooked up and where they originate and tie in.

Sounds like a late kit.The oil filter locates on the right side of the engine and I can't remember exactly where it mounts.Have a book somewhere. You know how that goes.Think maybe it mounts under the generator or alternator if so equipped.Hooks up to the oil galley towards the front of the engine. The latest kit had a 3/4"(od)steel oil return line that terminated at the front of the oil pan where there is a plug for an oil pan heater to be located,if used. From that point on,my memory fails me.Anyway the return oil dumps back into the oil pan.On the early turbos, we drilled a hole in the face of the ventilator pump and welded a pipe nipple into it and the connected a 3/4" return hose to the pipe nipple with a hose clamp. Hope this helps.

The pressure line goes from bottom left side of motor block to filter to turbo, return goes from turbo to front oil plug on oil pan.I know where there is set on a 4020 in Garys imp in bridgeport neb junk yard. Dale from ND

I have a turbo which the oil seal is out of, intake and exhaust manifold and all plumbing for M&W kit (I"m keeping oil filter). All parts are decent except turbo needs work. Shaft and fins and everything seemed fine except for oil leak. Wix makes remote mount oil filter bases that are pretty reasonable. Actually I have a spare that I gave $25 for. I"d sell it with my kit if someone wanted all of it. Make me an offer.
