A friend of mine asked me to help swap a transmission out of a 3010 utility into his 3010 row crop. His plans are to swap his axle housings and all the bolt on stuff onto the utility trans. Does anyone know of any problems we are going to run into? I'm guessing the ring and pinnion ratio is diferent, he's not worried about it though. Thanks for any help.

I'd think twice about destroying a low production # 3010 RCU to repair a common 3010 row crop. I don't know how many RCU's were made, but not very many & As I understand it they are VERY collectable, (read that, several times the $$$ that a row crop is worth.)
