I have an M&W P400, which they say is good for up to like 200hp, but 100hp is the most I'll ever anticipate having on it. When using a dyno, it's a good time to power wash as all of that hot water water coming out is handy!

It'a a great tool for breaking them in, tuning them up, general exercising, or evaluation of a new unit. If things aren't right, running 10 to 20 minutes on a dyno will show up every leak, creak, drip, and cough. The old carbon in the manifolds blowing out will make you think that it's burning itself up.

The old M&W's I've seen went for around $1,000.

A pto generator works very well to load them down for tuning. I had a small electric furnace I would plug into mine and just turn on different elements to load it down more.

There is one listed on pulloff.com site in the classified section for a tractor up to 500hp asking $3500.

Most of your tractor dealership will have one you could put your tractor on, and occasionally they are listed in the classifieds for sale. Post your message on the tractorpulling site, occasionally guys on that site will have one for sale also. If you come across the right person they could probably tell you how to build one. Hope this helps.
