Rebuilding my clutch on my 41 B and the clutch fork skaft where it goes into the housing is extremely worn. My resto book say to get it turned and then use a bushing (Not bushed originally), has anyone done this? or can I get it spray welded and lathed? Any Ideas would be great!
Also how does the pulley brake attach to that shaft, mine just slides back and forth. Thanks al

I had my clutch fork assembly rebuilt by a machinist by the name of Mike Williams. He does the work on an exchange basis. He builds up the shaft and turns it to the original spec, puts bushings in the bearing housing, builds up and remachines the brass fork, and even rivits on a new brake pad. Well worth the bucks.

I think the brake is just a slip fit on the shaft.
