I am in the process of the restoration of a 1947 AR Electric. I have seen photos of other AR tractors with the rear work light placed on the top of the right fender and other photo's with it on the right rear platform area. Can anyone tell me which is correct?
THANKS!

My 1947 AR has the rear light at bottom of right fender on fender brace. The light bracket is the same light bracket used on front lights for D. You wouldn"t happen to have an extra set of radiator shutters (AA3193R)would you? I also need a whole rear platform(AA3574R). Thanks for any help. rmt1944

On a 47 the light should be located on the right fender chanel. On my 49 unstyled AR I have the rear light on the fender, the "correct police" try to tell me that it's not correct but when I disasembled the tractor to restore the light bracket looked like that was the only location it had been. Drop me a line and I'll send you a picture. kentwoods@sbcglobal.net

From my parts catalog and a book on the Model A and its variations, it looks like the bracket bolts to the right rear of the Powr-trol reservoir with 2 bolts. Maybe someone with an AR can confirm that.
