Recently acquired a 3010 diesel. Engine runs good, steering good,3 point works good. Brakes have never worked. Brake line from steering valve was disconnected and capped at steering valve. I rebuilt the brake valve, installed a new line to steering valve,, cranked it up and immediately blew my brand new brake valve boots out, oil went everywhere.steering did not work. Would welcome any suggestions. Thanks, John

Sounds like you might have the pressure line in the return side. It should be in the middle on the rear between the left and right side lines under the brake pedals. If not then you have a cut or missing o-ring in there somewhere thats pressuriseing the return side.

I did hook the line from the steering valve to the middle on the rear. I also changed every o ring in the brake valve. The line that was disconnected from the steering valve was obviously done so on purpose. Is it possible for the brakes to work without this line? Thanks, John
