model 40 oil pressure

after changing rings on a model 40 I seem to of lost oil pressureI have around 10 psi cold and drops off from that it was around 30psi , have changed pumps around and gauges same pump and gauge works fine on another engine.the circulation of oil is there when you pull a gauge or plug out it seem like the oil is passing back around the pump instead off pressuring up. all the bearing look fine ,please help!!!

No I did not change the rod bearing they were standard and in good shape, I marked and match every thing back up,used white greese on them

Did you put in new rod bearings? If you did, could you have put standards back in where there once was .010 undersize.

I thought about that but hesitated to say something. I saw that done once and don't even want to say who's tractor it was that the ace mechanic miked for replacement inserts.
