Hey guys:

I"m still having trouble finding the check plug to see how full they are with oil. Can someone describe it to me a little better?

Thanks

Boys:

I still ( for the life of me)cannot find the check plug. Ive searched all over to the right of the flywheel cover to the axle housing but cannot see anything. The only thing I see to the right of the flywheel cover is a cover with 3 or 4 bolts holding it on to the engine but doubt that it"s anything to do with what I need.

Thanks!

It is a small cap screw about a foot behind the back edge of the flywheel cover. It takes either a 1/2 or 9/16 inch wrench. The 4 o'clock position is probably about right.

On the rear cover at about the 4 o'clock position there is a large plug.It is the one closes to the rear axle. Check your tranny there. The pto will be a smaller one probably on top of the pto assy.
