We bought a 4020 with 148 loader hooked up to the SCV's, and you had to use the remote level while using the loader controls. I moved the valve and the controls and hooked up the hydraulic lines for live pressure. All the information for how to do that was right here and I didn't have to ask one question. I wanted to thank all of you who contributed, and particularly "Pete/ME", "Mike M", and "Gerald J." from Jan 2005 and June of 05. We ranch in S/E Arizona and grow our own hay, and ripping apart the tractor and doing this project was great for my son (13). He basically did the project himself with a little oversight. So again, my thanks to all of you whose conversations I eavesdropped on in order to get the info we needed to make this happen. Hopefully one day I can repay the favor. Best Regards, Joe.

I have a JD 4010 with loader, but I don"t know if the hydraulics are connected most efficiently. Where in the archives did you find your information?

There's a couple great discussions (including restrictor valves etc) look under (I think) joystick loader 4020. If you look for a discussion in January of 2005 and June of 05 should have all the info you would need. Good luck. Joe

Glad to here you got it done. It sounds like you had alot better luck with the archives than I seem to . LOL

I can't imagine a loader on a tractor having to run it through the SCV's that has to be way slow.
