I just bought a GP i think it is a 29 from the looks of the air cleaner, it does not have a tag, i bought it to take a few parts off for my other one and sell it, i got a few pops out of it, has decent compression, do you think i should sell the complete tractor, or part it out since it does not have a tag. I know parts are hard to find and are not cheap for these. Thanks

why sell it? buy a junker that has parts on it to fix both of them up and then sell the fixed one and the junker. they don't make these any more you know. every one you save is worth the effort. i don't know that having a tag on a tractor is any big deal. i don't have one on mine either. i've never been to a show where all i did was run around and look at the tags on tractors. there is usually enough difference on pieces on tractors to track down their age within a few years any way. all that i know a tag does for you is help you track down parts.
