Hi guys, I bought a replacement turbocharger for my 4320 turbo kit that I plan to eventually install on my 4010. The turbo is a 3LM Schwitzer, and it came as a new rebuild without the oil intake and return adapters that bolt to the turbo. So, in other words, there is no place to screw a pipe fitting into to run the oil intake and return line to their designated areas. I am having trouble finding these adapters. Does anyone know of some laying around that I could purchase? I have adapters for the old turbo which was an AiResearch T04. But they do not fit my drop in replacement...which is a Schwitzer. I"ve been to the BorgWarner Turbo systems website (they own schwitzer)but it doesn"t help. The only turbo parts I can find are those of which are replaceable during a turbocharger service or rebuild. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Guys, thanks alot!

Get some used ones from a wrecking yard, or get a new one from Deere, # R43928, Key # 5 in the drawing.

You can shape and drill a piece of 3/16" flat stock for the return adapter, and braze a tube of the appropriate size to it.

I have even made my own supply adapters by taking some thicker flat stock, shaping it, than drilling the bolt holes, and drilling and tapping the pipe thread for the supply line.

Great information, thanks for your help. The picture in the drawing is of an AiResearch turbo, I have those adapters. I actually printed that parts reference earlier today. I really like the idea of making my own. I very well may try...thanks!!
