My family runs a golf course and a construction company. The old disk my grandfather disked the golf course up with was setting on some land the construction company is building on. Some of the kids that work there and had her loaded up and ready to go to the metal yard. I stopped them and got it off the trailer. Put a new wheel and two new tires on her and drug her home with our golf courses 4wd JD 4700. Would of used my B but it doesnt have hydraulics and I havent started working on my minneapolis u that will eventually pull this. Its safe now. What type of disk is it, and when were they made? It has 9 disks on each wing and is about 10 feet wide. Thanks Al

i've seen those disk priced at 800.00 bucks. they are getting to be far and few between. most of those were a little smaller for guys to use on smaller size tractors.

Yea, it looks like a kba. I recently restored one and had a lot of fun sandblasting it and painting it like new. Enjoy your disc!!

Value? Very little.Probably the cost of the parts to make it usable again. Would be too big for the B and would give an A all it wanted.I would say it was manufactured in the middle to late 50s.Would be about what was used behind a 60 or 70 model. Not much of a disk in my opinion. The RWA that I replaced the KBA with did a much better job.The KBA was just too light and they waddled down the road.Used to chain the front and rear gangs together to run in road gear.

Ok, thanks for the info. When I pulled it home and went straight as an arrow. It is actually ready to disk, it just needed the two tires and wheel, which i got for $30. It has 3 broken disks that I need to replace but we have a stack in our shed so the whole thing only cost me 30 bucks. Not to bad. AL

Any idea of the value? Not that I care, just curious. What years were they made from? And for which tractors, A's & B's? Thanks AL
