My 4430 did the same thing this spring. I needed to replace one of the fan motors.

Start by checking the circuit breakers in the lower left of the steering pedestal with a test light, to verify that current is getting through all of them.

Replace any bad breakers and repair any damaged connections at the breakers.

Does the radio now work... that is the "key" to this... there are two breakers that feed current to the fans, and one of them also feeds the radio.

When you get both power sources to the fans working, your radio will then work at all times... fans "OFF", or on either speed setting, the fans will probably work, too, unless one of the motors is also bad.

Also, there are wiring connectors at the lower front cab posts, behind the batteries. I can't remember which side the fan power connections are located, but there could be a problem there... poor connection, or burned connector terminal.

Post back with what you find!
