The cheapest 1/2" pipe thread plug around is the Autolite 3095. Champion also sells the 25 (now 525, I think) which is a 1/2" pipe thread plug but is more expensive.

It depends on how original you want to go. Your tractor probably came with Champion 7 plugs - very hard to find. They were replaced in September 1929 by the Champion 31 and they are around but not "cheap". However, they are a two-piece take-apart plug which is easy to clean well, so it is likely the last plug you would buy.

Marty,
Model T's used the Champion X plug, which are being remade by Champion occasionally. However, that is not the plug Deere recommended for the GP. The electrode structure and insulator is quite different from the Champion 31. But they will fit and unless the GP is worked I don't know that one can tell any difference.

40 JD G, I think the plug you are looking for is a 3095 Autolite, They are available from The Brillman Co. 888-274-5562. or www.brillman.com. Earl

I was able to order a box from an autolite dist. I'd have to check the part number. I have seen them advertised in engine magazines but they want alot for them. Ask your local parts house for model T ford plugs I think they are the same and they should have a listing on them.

I believe the number I use in my GP is an Autolite 3095, tractor is 30 miles away and my memory has let me down before so you might want to double check that number.
