My D used to be easy to start. Lots of spray through the petcocks. Now this summer I do not get any spray and I have to pull and pull and all Model D owners knows how that feels especially if a crowd is watching.
I had the carb opened and there was no corrosion to be seen. I had all brass plugs opened and cleaned. It might fire after 10 pulls but not catch on. Please any opinion is appreciated. Thanks.

Does your carb have a pet cock in the bottom of the float bowl? Open it and you should see a solid stream of fuel running. If the fuel is not running. Drop the carb bowl and check to see that the float valve is opening. You may have a sticky float valve that is not alowing gas into the carb.
