I recently purchased a john deere implement carrier/trailer. I am wondering if there are different models of these, so that can figure out which model that I have. The one that I have is 28 feet long and has 4 tires on the axle/frame that slides out from under the trailer for loading. Any help is apprecciated. thanks.

If memory serves me right from my parts man days, there are at least two different variations of the machinery trailers. The 101 has a round pipe frame and the later 201 has a square tubing frame. Hope this helps. Mike

Donahue-built, perhaps? I have some literature around somewhere, with the Deere model numbers.

I'll take a look later this evening.

IIRC, there would be a name/serial number plate in the hitch area. Is there at least the remains of rivets there?
