I hope you don't think new brake-disks are going to make the 2010 stop better. They didn't work when new. I'm kind of surprised if your's are actually worn out. Most don't grab enough to wear out - they just glaze over. We sold 1010s and 2010s new - and I've yet to see one that has brakes that will hold back on a hill. I've seen all kinds of attempts to modify them - in an effort to improve on Deere's screw-up - but I haven't seen any that make much of a difference. When new - we used to take them apart- and send the steel plates to the machine shop to get grooves cut into them. That helped a little - but not much. Best fix is to use a 1020 or 2020 instead.

My 2010 brakes work good, they just lock up when I step too hard on them. but they do stop and hold. THen when I release the brakes and let the clutch out, I hear a pop, and the brakes release and off I go. Someting probably isn't right inside, but they do work. Jim
