I have an extra condenser on my 620. I don't think it is supposed to be there. At least I can't find any reference to it in my parts book. At one time it was connected to the terminal on the coil that is connected to the switch. You can still see the crimp connector that the wire came out of. Any ideas as to why this condenser is there? Just curious. Thanks.

John, For years (a while back) they were hangin lil condensors on generators n up on the coils n other places to filter out high frequency static that was messin up radio reception and if one picked up a coil laying around the shop or from salvage yards etc those lil extra condensors survived n got wired up.

On many of these a second condenser was added as you indicated to reduce electrical interferance/noise in radios that were added on the tractors. Don
