I have to press in a new bushing in my 520"s clutch and at $35 I dont want to ruin to many. I have a small press but I dont have the correct size mandrel to push it in, Any tips??? Does it go in hard? Would putting it in freezer first help, does it expand easy or not?? Any ideas or tips would be great. Thanks

I have installed many a bushing and oil seal by using sockets of a matching diameter and a small press. This is far better than trying to drive them in as everything is in better alignment.

Chilling it would probably help but shouldn't be necessary. Soak it in oil first before putting in. You can turn a driver from metal or brass or solid hard wood or plastic to put it in with. Many implement dealers have a press and various size drivers and could do it for you.
