I am new to this forum and a new owner of a 4520. The tractor has a seal the leaks where the left 3 point arm connects (rock shaft seal?). I was careful to catch the fluid and would like to pour it back to the reservoir but I can not locate the fill tube or plug. I am in the market for a shop/owner"s manual but have owned the tractor for only a couple days.
Any help will be appreciated.

The seal that it sounds like you have leaking is what they call they draw bar support. I have a 4020 and I just got done replacing all that. Not a bad job. Just make sure if you decide to replace it ask the deere dealer about the bushings that have o-rings. This will eliminate that pesky seal and keep you from having to change it. I had a 4520 that i did it on and never had another problem with that seal. If you don't fix it though it will get worse. I repalced all the bushings seals and the shaft for my 4020 for about $200. You can go to deere.com and get a link for there parts web site and get some good diagrams and part #'s

One my 4620 its in front of the seat. If you were sitting on the seat it would be about where your right foot is. Should be a black knob about 2" in diameter that you have to turn to loosen (normal thread) and then pull out. Theres a rubber fitting under the cap that gets sqeezed tight inside the tube.

Dipstick is in back of seat just behind rockshaft.
