we really need help with the configuration of the instrument cluster. the way they are set up now the back cover will not fit properly . . . so we were wondering which one is at the top and which side the others go on on the bottom. also, we are not sure where to connect the ground. please help! thanks.

If your 46-A is a slant dash the oil pressure is on top, amp gauge left, temp gauge right. If your A is a 6-volt system then the batt pos goes to chassis ground, neg to starter post. I hope this helps and if not post back.

thanks so much for your help. about the ground . . . where does is connect to the chassie? or does it not matter? and i have another question . . . what setting do the load needle and idle needle need to be on the carburetor? how many turns past closed do they need to be? it keeps flooding. hopefully this makes sense. it's the first tractor that my husband has restored and i am just relaying information! thanks!
