Hi Guys, I have a 52 A with a power block and some type of will fit water pump that is tapped into the lower water pipe with cast elbows and short hoses. Any guess on who made this pump and where I might get parts. The bearing and seal are shot. This pump is bolted on to the front fan shaft support bracket. Any help would be appreciated. John

Thanks guys for your help. Yes, this A with a power block I suspect had this water pump added because of the extra horses, it may have over heated doing heavy work. Serial is 692,413 so its a little before factory water pump. Thanks

John; It sounds like from your description, you have a Johnson water pump. A while back someone had some parts on here for this pump.I am surprised this kind of pump was used on this late model B. Mostly they were used on the older A B and Gs when they had a modified engine. If you cant find any parts, you can change the bottom tank and install a Deere water pump Good Luck!

First of all if no one else figures it out there are companies that sell water pump bearings seperately. Now there are also only a handfull of different water pump seals. Once you get it apart if no one else answers you get back in touch. I also know a shop that I used to deal with when I was in a different line of work that catered to rebuilding odd ball water pumps. They are in the midwest.

Please do tell! I posted a message a few ahead of this one looking for a shaft seal and carbon washer for these pumps. I have the older style one that will NOT take a JD seal. Please help us find parts for these pumps!!
