After a complete rebuild of my JD 401b tractor, I fired it off this after noon. This has been a project I have completed a little at a time, over the past 5 months. It started fairly easy, and had good oil pressure somewhere around 75 lbs. I am sure that will go down a litle with some hours on the motor. Only problem I see is a hyd. leak around the filter. Had to stop for supper, will tackle the filter leak tomorrow if time permits. stan

Glad you got it going Stan. Maybe just a new O ring gasket needed on filter cover? Deere has been bad about that for years never including any or all of the needed o ring gaskets with their hydraulic or oil filters but a wary and knowledgable parts person usually takes care of you on that but not always with someone new behind the counter.
