Hey all,

I'm looking for a place to find some parts for my 835 3-16 rollover plow. I've called several boneyards and none of them have anything. Anyone know of a place I could find some? A manual would be nice to have as well.

What parts do you need? Have you tried Deere?

Hi ram ranch,

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't notice that ad when I looked last night. However, I'm not looking for a complete plow. Maybe a parts plow but not one for 850 bucks. I bought my 3-16 for 200 and put 300 in moldboards on it already!

Bill

Besides ads, literature vendors and online auctions for manuals try JD publications 800-522-7448. Did you mean 825 or 820 series or 8350 plow? Don't see a 835 listed in manuals publication but what else is new as things are missing from those catalogs.

Hey Glen,

I guess I assumed it's an 835. Maybe you could more accurately ID it. It doesn't have the flat steel frame like an 825, it has the square tube frame and has trip bottoms. It has the furrow wheels but no gauge wheels. I don't have my Deere Tractors and Imps Vol II right here but I thought the caption on a picture in the plows section named a 4-16 on a 4020 an 835.

Aren't the 8350s a lot newer?

 Maybe F835 ?? in reply to farmerboy, 03-21-2007 05:03:21
Oops sorry, Ok now I see you said it had square frame? Maybe it's a F835 two-way plow? Don't think I have pics of that one but will look later. F835,F835A,F845,& F845A are covered in OMA17477 operators manual and PC925 parts catalog.

825 Plow Pics Manuals in reply to farmerboy, 03-21-2007 05:03:21
Yes, F8350 is later two-way plow but just mentioned it in case numbers were crossed. The 825,825A,825B,& 825C two-way (rollover) plows were made in 1,2,& 3 furrow sizes with stiff or safety trip standards. The 3 furrow was either 825 with stiff standards or 825A with safety trip standards. They could come with regular, cast or special rubber tired tail wheels. All 825 versions are covered in OMA13486 Operators Manual and PC805 Parts Catalog. I saw the 825 is not on JD Parts online parts catalogs but your JD dealer may have a parts catalog or acess to it to give you numbers for parts and moldboards. I don't have a 825 parts catalog. Shares & knives should be available from aftermarket yet also. For the manuals try JD Publications 800-522-7448 or go thru your dealer. You might also find a original operators manual listed as OM-A13486A in ads, from literature vendors or online auctions. My original manual recommended the 825 3 bottom for use with JD 3010,4010,720,& 730 tractors. This pic is one I borrowed from implement photos of Dean's 3 bottom 825 on a 730 and other pic is from original manual I have. third party image

There are a couple of places to get roll over plow parts. Someone here gave me this guy's name
Albert Muth 719-254-6140. He seems to be a real nice guy, and seems to know his plows.

As for the manual I got a really nice one on ebay for my 825. Only a few dollars!!

Hey Wil,

I've been looking on ebay off and on for a couple years now. I haven't seen one yet but may have missed a few here and there.

Thanks for the contact. I'll give him a call tomorrow.
