Looking for an original piece of literature/sales sheet on an Anderson Side Mount Mower that was sold as "Allied Equipment" to be mounted on a John Deere 430U. Or, a copy would be great as well. Any info appreciated. We have this mower-THANKS!

I have some info from the 30 series Allied Equipment book. It shows a 320, but is dated 5-59, and has the price list for the 40-420-320-430

I can email larger scans if you want. Duane, I'd be interested in a scan of yours to compare?

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO YOU BOTH! Exactly what we needed. We just got our 430U and mower home. Do you know of anyone who has restored one?
This one appears to be complete. Will have to measure the cutter bar, see there are 3 different options for length. Interesting to see the 440I also as an option. We have a 440I with the 71 loader and 51 backhoe. The 430U was researched, came back with the CJ265 Industrial Yellow paint code and was originally shipped with industrial rear tires on 10x24 rear rims. If these tractors could only talk about their history! Hats off to Thank you again!

Jen,
I have a 1 page 2-color flyer which shows the mower on a 40, dated 1-56, and a 1-page price sheet. They are in the "Information on Allied Equipment Cleared for Use with John Deere Tractors" manual, updated 6/56. If you don't have this info I can scan and email. I can look further to see if I have anything later for the 430 if that would be necessary.
