I have a 51 model A. Problem is the two friction discs in the clutch have worn out. I have the radiator off and am down to the part of slipping the fan off the shaft but I aint havin any luck getting the collar pushed back and the keepers out. I made a spring compressor last night to squeeze it all together but the generator pulley comes forward and I still cant get the collar pushed back. Any Ideas or am I going about it all wrong? HELP!!! thanks in advance

Compress the spring ,c-clamps work good for this,if the pulley comes out thats fine. I then take a piece of pipe just the size of the collar and drive it back the alum. disks and pulley should move back too. They may be corroded fast. I have always done them off the tractor and supported the bottom of the shaft on a wood block for good support however.
