the brake master cylinder line to the transmission sump and one doesn't...the 1963, doesn't, the 1961 did, at least until the fire.....So should I just plug the outlet in the pump on the 1961, or is it better to have that drain line running from the front pump back to dump into the transmission sump via the master cylinder drain line to sump. Was that a service bulletin that came out later, and just hasn't been applied to the 1963 tractor I have? Or was it done on the early tractors but discontinued...I see JDPARTS still shows the kit to put it on, so I am thinking its a service bulletin for some reason or another. Oh and I have the tractor that burnt up and running, rebuilt injection pump, radiator, new lift pump, rebuilt generator, original starter, new (used) tires, batteries, all new wiring, new hoses, one scv I put new seals in and it's in the shop getting adjusted as it had a high pressure leak before and still does, the other scv seems to be working fine, I rebuilt one of the breakaway couplers and need to get a kit to rebuild the other...new oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket and front crank seal, new (used) dampener. I had to pull the steering valve out and tear the top and bottom off it, put new top seals in it and use the welder to build up the cotter pin holes and redrill them in the bottom of the bottom shaft as pre-fire it appeared the cotter pin had failed and the castle nut had backed off and was in the process of being chewed up and chewing up the bottom of that shaft, I have that back together and the steering works good, no leaks. I used safety wire 4 ways on that this time, looks very secure now. The tractor actually starts and sounds better than ever, courtesy of the newly rebuilt injector pump I am sure.
