if it works, here is a link to ranch and living magazine's website where there is a short article on a guy who put together a 43 Farmall H and a 45 John Deere B:

I think it is great that someone can and does do something like this. If someone had this and a restored B and restored H in a row I would go look at this one first. It is not like every B or H is going to be saved so there are many out there for the rest of us that want one. I marvel at what he and others do, like the twin engines in the A or B, or the V8 Diesel in the same type tractor. Maybe it is becouse I couldn't change the gear shift knob from one to the other. Now if I went to a show and half the tractors were changed in ways something like this I most likely would change my mine. But once in a while different is good.

I saw that thing, and even though I admire the ingenuity and creativity, I just have to ask "why?". Either tractor would be a lot of fun to restore, own and use/play with on its own, so why do something like that. To each his own, but when I hear about guys that really don't have the time, money and skill to be in the hobby when they'd really like to be, it seems a little foolish and unfair that other guys have the time, money and skill to do something like that.
