I'd say it was made in the 1970s. Has 1 hydraulic hose to run 1 cylinder. It's an X-pattern, is fairly rusty but still workable, and has two okay tires on it and an okay hydralic hose. How much do you think it would be worth for me to offer to pay for it?

Hi Will,

I just sold a KBA for $250 with a cylinder. The disks were in pretty good shape but it was missing a few scrapers and the rubber was shot. Told the guy 3 or 4 times that it's a poorly designed disk but he insisted he wanted it.

What he shoulda bought was a IH trip disk I have. It does a very nice job and was only $75.

Do you still have the IH Disk? Are you anywhere near central IN?

Made in the 1950s would be much closer. About 3 years ago I bought a RWA 10ft for $300. Newer and much better than the KBA. $200 would be plenty high for that KBA!

Well, I'll make an offer of $200, and see what happens.

Excellent work on getting the picture to work. The owner said he paid $500 when he got it about 10+ years ago, and he said give him a good price for it. He's used it quite a bit, but hasn't done much with it anymore.

Maybe tell him $200 or $300?

How wide is it? And what are you going to pull with it? I don't know the value of it. But if the blades are not that bad and usable, $200-300 wouldn't be too bad. I would think.

I wouldn't use it for any sort of serious farming, but to keep pasture under control and for a decent sized garden, it would be fine. It's pretty worn, but it's in decent shape.

That almost looks like a John Deere KBA harrow. I saw one at auction a few months ago go for $500 and it was in rough shape, not as good as this. It was missing the hydraulic cylinder and most of the discs needed to be replaced. I think someone just posted pics of a KBA in the implements section just a week ago.

Yup, She is a KBA. They seem to have gone up in value in the past few years. They seem to be good sellers in my area for those folks who want to plant a wildlife plot or two. I've seen two sell in the past year for around the $600.00 mark and they were no cream puffs. I'm not sure why anyone would want one they ridge terribly. I'd gladly let someone take mine for $ 600.00

Whomever said it may be a KBA is probably right. I saw a picture on this site in the implement galleries that looks like what I'm trying to get my hands on.
