1010RU leaking hydraulic fluid

Its dripping from under the left rear wheel somewhere. Wasn't too bad (until I started bush hogging today) so I just kept topping it up with fluid. Only use the 3 pt for bush hogging and logging drawbar type work. The tractor usually just pulls a trailer.

Now its a pretty steady drip drip drip. I would like to know where to look for the leak and if its OK to put some beef on a wrench if its a loose connector/bolt/nut. Don't want to screw things up and my knowledge of hydraulics is minimal.

Thanks for the help!

Roy, thanks for the hint. The paint is rubbed off the hydraulic lines where they pass the tranny but no leaks there.

I found the leak. Its at the end of the pressure line from the top of the hydraulic pump to the remote control valve housing. Its at the remote control valve housing end. Dripping from a 3/4" fitting in the housing. I can't get an open end wrench on it to see if its loose! Is this some sort of Deere "Dealer Special" wrench or can I buy one somewhere?

How much beef should I use to tighten the fitting? Is there an O ring or gasket that needs replacing?

Appreciate the help --- There's fields to be mowed!

Thanks.

both of the hyd. lines feed and return are on the left I think and could have rubbed a hole where they lay against the tranny
